Orange County trio Cat Party aren’t the kind of guys who relish watching keyboard-playing cat videos on the Internet, although Googling them will definitely convince you Americans have way too much time on their hands. What Rick Espinoza (bass), Roger Fowler (drums) and Ryan Nichols (guitar/vocals) do love is taking their show on the road. They’ve toured all up and down the West Coast and into Canada, while writing the kind of indie/post-punk music that garners them a loyal following. Check out these local boys as they return home to promote their new album, Rhapsody In Black, at Detroit Bar.
