Sounds like the kind of weekends we wish we had: marital infidelity, a neophyte actress, a savvy female private detective, a brash Hollywood producer, a bickering divorced couple, a missing relative (several we’d like to nominate), a boy-wonder poker player (hey, pal, we need some advice!), an egotistical Lothario (ditto) and a murder (see previously referenced relatives). To get a taste of life on the large and lubricious side, don’t miss up-and-coming LA playwright David Macaray’s scintillating play within a play. It’s billed as a night of romance and mild absurdity. Sounds like last Friday’s blind date—but with a better, uh, climax.
Saturdays, Sundays, 5 p.m. Starts: April 30. Continues through May 15, 2011
