A dance resurrection, that is, for all OC Gen-Xers who came of age under the tyranny of the Reagan and Bush I administrations, soothing our raging sociopolitical angst by smurfing our troubles away to the smooth, electro-infused sounds of Tom Tom Club, Debbie Gibson and Tone-Loc. Knott’s Berry Farm is firing up the flux capacitor and hitting the time warp for one night only: Dance clubs Studio K and Cloud 9 (housed inside the park between 1984 and 1991) open their floors for your nostalgic wonderment, hosted by ex-KROQ personality Richard Blade. And if the flood of memories overwhelms the synapses, two full bars can take the edge off and give you the courage to hit the floor and bust out the Running Man with careless abandon.
