Poor Katharine McPhee. Like so many American Idol contestants, her career following her stint on the FOX juggernaut's fifth season has seen a steady decline. If you consider her initial post-Idol releases a career high-water mark, you'll pick up what we're laying down. But just because someone has faded into the background doesn't mean an audience can't derive pleasure from experiencing said artist in a live setting. Think of the kitsch value.
