When Ledward Kaapana was growing up on the Big Island, his tiny village didnt have the amenities were used to today: no television, radio or electricity at all. To keep entertained, the Kaapana family immersed itself in music, and this is where Ledward learned to play the ukulele. Flash forward more than four decades, and Grammy-nominated Ledward Kaapana has traveled the world, sold countless albums and performed hundreds of live shows. Lucky for music-lovers everywhere, the legendary slack-key guitar and ukulele master is coming to play at the Coach House to knock your socks off with his talent before he heads home to shed his fame and fortune and settle down to play at his local weekly residency, a brew house.
