For one weekend each year, the Honda Center transforms into a bull-riding arena for the 40 best professional riders in the world. Watch as riders attempt to stay on top of massive bulls that could easily crush them with one wrong move. There are two rounds, with each ride lasting a measly eight seconds—of course, it’s a long eight seconds for those inside the ring. The riders’ scores from Friday and Saturday are combined, and the top 15 advance to the championship round, where they’ll take on yet another bull before one rider can be named the winner. This October, the World Finals will be held in Las Vegas, with the champion taking home a $1 million bonus—not a bad paycheck for adrenalin junkies.
