Like punk rock bands, musicians in the psychobilly genre have a tendency to follow a large herd of their peers. Three Bad Jacks are the exception. Yes, they sport the classic elements of the psychobilly sound: upright bass, drums played at a machine-gun clip and sinister, crunchy blues guitars. But it's their use of spooky keyboards and sinister harmonies blended with kooky lyrics about Jesus clad in a space suit that give this band a well-balanced sense of humor mixed with a dark edge.
