Every New Year’s Eve, singletons face the same nightmare scenario—ending the countdown with no one to kiss. Instead of drinking yourself to sleep this year, why not celebrate New Year’s Day the Austrian way? Inspired by Vienna’s classical New Year’s concert, Das Neujahrskonzert der Wiener Philharmoniker, the Orange County Performing Arts Center has graciously reproduced the spectacle for the past 16 years—and it’s back with more schnitzelriffic action. The event features the Strauss Symphony of America, dancers from the Vienna City Ballet, polkas, waltzes and much, much more. Eine kleine nachtmusik, ja!
