We'd like to take a moment to toot the horns of early trip-hop rockers hed p.e., who despite spawning a musical gene pool of Linkin Parks, Limp Biskits and P.O.D.s managed to develop an aggressive and compelling metal-meets-rap sound that didn't come off half as lame as those that came followed.
