Face to Face became a '90s SoCal punk mainstay and skate-video staple with the success of albums such as Big Choice, Face to Face and Don’t Turn Away—“Disconnected” still finds regular radio airplay. Things may have halted since the days of power chords and wallet chains—the Victorville trio’s last album, 2002’s How to Ruin Everything, got decent reviews but an overall lukewarm reception, which preceded the band’s temporary breakup—but Face to Face fans can take pleasure in knowing that a new album, Laugh Now . . . Laugh Later, is slated to drop in January, followed in the summer by a Warped Tour gig.
