If you’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing Sedaris in a live performance, you will notice the rhythmic surge of the audience’s laughter, which erupts at every punch line, whether funny or not. Needless to say, it’s hip to like Sedaris. No doubt attendees will be treated to Sedaris’ wry, dry, sub-nasal monotone yarns describing life as an eccentric, gay and slightly nebbish non-Jew from a middle-class background.
