If you listen to KROQ it's not likely you've missed Anberlin's recent single "Impossible." The Florida rock band which is signed to Tooth and Nail Records, is currently playing in support of their 2010 LP Dark is the Way Light is a Place. If it sounds like an oddly Christian reference you may be on to something, Tooth and Nail has been home to many Christian rock acts over the years. But surprise surprise, Anberlin is a tad vague about the themes of their music. No matter, their music is full of lush, anthemic energy that rocks hard and features a sound that makes one think what it might be like if U2 snorted a few lines of meth before recording.
