For its latest exhibit, Muzeo got a hold of one of the country’s most extensive corporate collections of Mexican post-revolution artwork. Curated by Cesáreo Moreno of Chicago’s Nation Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Bank of America, “Miradas” is part of the “Art in Our Communities” program which lends exhibits from the bank’s commodious art collection to museums around the world in an effort to strengthen artistic establishments and cultural understanding. The collection will feature more than 95 pieces in a range of media from some of the most respected artists of the time including Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and Rufino Tamayo.
Sept. 20-Jan. 9, 10 a.m., 2010
