A Forgettable Anniversary at Irvine Fine Arts Center

A handful of strong pieces notwithstanding, there's not much here to make you stop and think

Despite the good work noted above, as the Center’s anniversary recedes into memory, here’s looking forward to IFAC’s “All Media 2010,” arriving Nov. 19. Juried by OCMA’s very own Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Programs Karen Moss, that show should make this otherwise-lackluster exhibition fade even quicker.

“30th Anniversary Exhibition” at Irvine Fine Arts Center, 14321 Yale Ave., Irvine, (949) 724-6880; www.cityofirvine.org/cityhall/cs/finearts. Open Mon.-Thurs., 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Fri., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sat., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Through Sept. 25. Free.
