OK, so last year’s restaurant romp The Slammin’ Salmon didn’t quite garner the down-in-history-as-one-of-the-awesome-movies-ever success as Broken Lizard’s previous films Beerfest and Super Troopers. But the 5-man group didn’t start out making movies anyway—they were a sketch comedy troupe, who after graduating from Colgate University, moved to New York City and eventually got into filmmaking. While Potfest is supposedly still in the works (we’ll let you guess what that one is about), and even a Super Troopers 2 is rumored to be happening, the boys have been returning to their sketch comedy roots with some hysterical live stage shows. It might be a while before any of these films come to fruition, so get a Broken Lizard fix while you can.
