Santa Ana non-profit Downtown Inc. has been putting on free "Posse on Broadway" events each month this summer at, where else, downtown Santa Ana. The final one happens this Saturday, and it's essentially a Long Beach invasion. Music comes from two noted LB acts, including headliners Free Moral Agents — led by the ubiquitous Ikey Owens, whose name is almost always followed by the words "keyboard player for The Mars Volta." Also on the bill is Blank Blue, providing the atmospheric, psychedelic jams. The shows are at the 2nd Street Promenade, but the party extends to participating businesses Proof, The Crosby, Memphis, Gypsy Den and Lola Gaspar, with DJs (including Blank Blue's DJ Nobody at The Crosby) and live music throughout.
