Like the title of his 2006 album, Weird Al Yankovic is indeed Straight Outta Lynwood, not far from Orange County. So it’s fitting that, for a second year in a row, his “Al’s Brain” exhibit, an educational 3-D tour of the human brain, is stationed at the OC Fair. This year, he’s also playing two shows. You might think that Weird Al is distinctly a product of the ‘80s, but he’s kept up with the times—he appeared on multiple episodes of avant-garde Adult Swim sketch show Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and is currently ranked No. 63 in terms of Twitter followers. Reports state that he’s working on a Lady Gaga parody—meaning that “Just Prance“ or “Bad Bromance” might not be far behind.
