In 1980, the most famous of the SNL veteran players hijacked local theaters: John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd taught the crackers soul in The Blues Brothers, and Chevy Chase and Bill Murray starred in one of the best ensemble comedy casts in historyall set on a golfing green. Who can forget the Baby Ruth in the pool, Murrays ball washing for Mrs. Crane (the monkey woman), Bishop Pickering being struck by lightning, every line Chase smirked out, Rodney Dangerfields souped-up golf bag, and Ted Knights damaged package. Its a legend, its a screen party, and its the films 30th anniversary. Get thee to the movie house, varmints.
