A band having a release show for a single—especially at an auspicious venue such as the House of Blues in Anaheim—is a little unusual. But any reason to gather talented local bands is a good one, as will be the case when Huntington Beach’s Rye Douglas Band unleash their new song “Trial and Error” on Downtown Disney. Making the night even more newsworthy, it’s the last Union Line show on their schedule before the South County band tours the U.S. with Local Natives, and it’s the highest-profile Orange County show for the former Aushua since rechristening themselves as Pacific Hurt.
