Laguna Beach is a unique area in that the city boasts both obnoxious heaps of money and a dominating artists community. Now celebrating its 44th year, one of Laguna’s celebrated art festivals (of several throughout the year) is in full swing: the Art-A-Fair brings 125 painters/sculptures/photographers/what-have-yous together with live music, demonstrations, workshops, and gourmet food. Guests are invited to stroll the garden-like grounds of the festival as artists create and display (and sell!) their work—encouraging you to take a little piece of beauty home with you; getting inspired to create your own art, however, comes free of charge.
