Somewhere between dancing on a boardwalk for spare change, performing alongside tap-dancing conjoined twins, being named the first and only honorary veteran of the US Armed Forces and palling around with several Presidents (all at once in the most politically powerful golf foursome in history), Bob Hope became one of the most beloved entertainers of all time. To celebrate this iconic actor/comedian/golfer, the President of the Timeless Melodies Foundation and American music aficionado Larry Maurer will host a special event at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. Maurer will recount the story of the star’s life—from humble beginnings to comedic musicals to warmhearted USO performances to becoming an absolute legend.
