More About
Sorry, old bitter dudes: licensing your music for TV shows or commercials is no longer a crass, sellout move, its one of the main ways a band gets noticed. LAs the Submarines owe pretty much all of their success to it: not only did they get their song Brighter Discontent in the fourth season finale of Nip/Tuck back in 2006, the characters actually lip-synced along to the lyricswhich was not even in the top 100 of weird things to happen on that show. In 2008, You, Me and the Bourgeoisie landed on an iPhone commercial. But more than two years removed from their last full-length, Honeysuckle Weeks, fans are looking forward to whats next, and will hopefully get a glimpse on this current west coast mini-tour, where you dont even have to turn on the TV to see them.
