Just in time for the arrival of summer comes Long Beach’s “Taste of Downtown.” Presented by non-profit organization the Downtown Long Beach Associates, this most delicious endeavor brings some of the East Village’s best restaurants to the streets, providing a sampling of their finest dishes. Participating eateries include some of our favorites like Utopia and Parkers Lighthouse, along with tasty places Buono’s Authentic Pizzeria and Kabob Curry. Tickets are just a buck a piece (or $10 for 12!) and if you buy two booklets, you’ll be rewarded with a free ticket to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Plus, the Pawn Shop Kings will be playing live music throughout the event. What a delectable evening.
