It’s about a thousand times more fun than staying home and watching American Idol (which sucks now that Paula and her vacant stare are gone). Every Tuesday, the Long Beach chapter of Hamburger Mary’s turns into “the friendliest club in town” with T-Girl Tuesdays, hosted by the ravishing Miss Jamie Jameson. Produced by T-Girl Nights, who specialize in transgender-friendly events in Southern California, T-Girl Tuesdays start off with a karaoke contest complete with cash prizes (for those with Idol dreams who didn’t make the cut—we know you were just nervous!), drink specials, hot waiters and dancing from midnight until closing. Work on Wednesday morning? Oh please, that’s for squares.
