The kindly folk at the Handmade Brigade are at it again, bringing us the second installment of Speakeasy—an indie craft show with attitude. Contrary to popular belief, DIY ain’t all glitter, macaroni and hemp. For one night, Speakeasy II takes over the Detroit Bar, where more than 20 local vendors will display and sell their uniquely crafted hand-made items. No middle-men, no shipping, just you, the artists and hundreds of other folks that support getting creative and buying direct. With an open bar and DJs spinning all night long, this meet ‘n’ greet is 21+, so leave the kiddies at home and come out for a healthy dose of arts, culture and great vibes.
