People will use any excuse to attend an event that involves sampling chocolate. Thanks to the Museum of Latin American Art, you won’t have to come up with an outlandish excuse to nibble on dark chocolates from Venezuela: This tasting will occur during the museum’s En La Noche event (and the following three days). En La Noche is a night of art, music, film, food and dance, all celebrating the culture of Venezuela. With tours of MOLAA’s current exhibition, “Changing the Focus: Latin American Photography 1990-2005,” a selection of films documenting the works of the featured artists and a musical performance by Sonoclip, you can spend the evening immersing yourself in all that is Venezuela—and, of course, chocolate.
