My Footprint: Carrying the Weight of the World is a pretty serious-sounding title for a book by a guy from Curb Your Enthusiasm, but don’t worry. The cover depicts writer Jeff Garlin on a treadmill in the forest, playfully illustrating the book’s two-pronged focus: the corpulent comic’s recent attempt at becoming both more green friendly (co-star Larry David’s ex-wife Laurie is a noted environmental activist) and properly health conscious. It could be kinda preachy, but knowing Garlin, that’s not a concern—this all happened during the filming of the show’s seventh season, the same season where his character had sex with Marty Funkhouser’s crazy sister Bam Bam, after all. He’ll prove it in person, at a signing and talk at Barnes and Noble in Huntington Beach.
