Here’s what people thought was funny back in 1999: a goateed Canadian man getting a lesbian scene painted on his parents’ car, buying condoms, and putting his bum on things. It’s been about a decade since Tom Green’s brief-yet-inescapable peak, largely cut short due to his starring role in the infamous Freddy Got Fingered, a movie where, among other hilarious(?) incidents, he revives a stillborn baby by swinging it around his head by the umbilical cord. Green has stayed active recently hosting a rather straight-forward live online talk show from his living room, and is now in the midst of his first stand-up tour. At one point such a thing would be a pretty risky proposition, but as his talk show has shown, Green has mellowed a lot in recent years. Probably for the best.
