Strange, at this point, that Martin Lawrence was cast back in 1995 in a film called Bad Boys; stranger still, at that point it made sense. He was accused of sexual harassment by his Martin co-star Tisha Campbell, had a rep for crazy behavior on set, got banned from Saturday Night Live and puzzlingly risked his health by jogging in the summer while wearing tons of clothes. Now, though, after a string of family movies (Rebound, College Road Trip) and a filmography consisting of innocuous pap like Wild Hogs, he's taken an Ice Cube-esque path to losing his edge completely. Maybe this Long Beach gig will help the Big Momma's House star return to his foul-mouthed roots; if not, he's still more of a bad boy than Will Smith has ever been, at least.
