Not as much uncommon as it promises to be uncommonly good (cute girls doing cheeky strip-teases is pretty standard burlesque fare), the Commonwealth Lounge’s monthly burlesque show is under new management. Now in the extremely capable hands of the gorgeous Dizzy Von Damn (2008’s Miss Viva Las Vegas!), Uncommon Burlesque brings some of the art’s sassiest ladies front and center. Starring Ruby Champagne, the Mexican spitfire of burlesque Lavendar La Rue, redhead with a heart of gold Tara Mi Sioux, recently returned from Sweden Charlotte La Belle Araigne'e, weaving a web you'll never want to leave Miss Viva Las Vegas 2008 Dizzy von Damn! and Orange County's own Ava Garter 9pm, No Cover, Full Bar.
