Round—“like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel, never ending or beginning, on an ever-spinning reel”—yes, like the “Windmills of Your Mind” (Bergman, Bergman, Legrand), circles are fascinating, mystical symbols; shapes that surround and pursue us, from morning till night, and upon which we build not only our dreams but also, literally, our lives. This exhibit—and its interactive classes—pays homage to the beauty of the simple mathematical equation that transforms our world and invites young and old to uncover the magic of circles.
