Nearly every Disney property has gotten the “on ice” treatment since the productions started in 1981—there are eight different shows currently touring the world, even. Coming to the Honda Center is Worlds of Fantasy , featuring four different Disney entities, starting with Pixar fave Cars , which dispenses with actual skaters in favor of ice-gliding robots (odds of a Terminator -esque dystopian future increasing by the minute). Classics The Little Mermaid and Lion King are up next, then a second act dedicated to the burgeoning direct-to-DVD Tinker Bell franchise, full of fanciful fairies sure to confound the little boys who came for Cars . Also not for that crowd: a preshow lobby attraction dedicated to Disney princesses, with real-life gowns and other knickknacks based on the beloved animated ladies.
