Green is definitely the new black—and as being Earth conscious becomes more important to homeowners and businesses, many are left scratching their heads, wondering where to begin. In an effort to accommodate these environmental virgins, Orange County’s Environmental Nature Center is hosting tours of their new green learning center—the first local building to achieve LEED Platinum status—where visitors can learn the virtues of green living, how to evolve both home and business lifestyles through renewable energy use, and how to reduce that pesky carbon footprint we’ve all heard so much about. Being green can be easy when you schedule a tour of the ENC’s Learning Center. No tree hugging necessary.
