Fred Willard

STAGES Theatre

By JOEL BEERS

Published on September 30, 2009 at 2:42am

The last time actor/comedian/living legend Fred Willard graced the OC with his presence, he received a key to the city of Fullerton at a minor league baseball game. This time, he’ll be here with his band of sketch-comedy writers and performers, the MoHos. A couple of members have links to STAGES Theatre, which explains why we’re lucky enough to have a guy as funny as Willard periodically visit our backwater. The material is always changing and, like all sketch comedy, sometimes hits and sometimes misses. But Fred Willard will be on-stage, and, really, isn’t that enough?
