The woman Variety said “seems capable of doing anything” comes to Costa Mesa to do a little bit of everything. Most noted for her Tony Award-winning turn playing the dual roles of both Edith Bouvier Beale and “Little” Edie Beale (Jackie O’s reclusive, eccentric relatives) in the phenomenal musical Grey Gardens , Christine Ebersole has been heralded as giving “the kind of performance that comes around once in a decade.” Ebersole opens the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s 2009-2010 Cabaret Series (her only Southern California appearance until next year), enchanting audiences with her unique sense of humor, captivating personality and sensational voice.
