Star Wars: In Concert

Honda Center

What is the word “epic” if not to describe the impact that the Star Wars saga has on American culture? Birthed by iconic producer George Lucas in 1977, the story of adventurous battles (from a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away) continues to spawn countless fans and freaks. And though you might be able to quote the entire original trilogy verbatim in the movie theater (truly annoying by the way) and you’ve got just about every piece of Darth Vader and Stormtrooper paraphernalia a trophy case can stow, what kind of fan would you be if you let an event like Star Wars: In Concert slip by you? Regret it, you would. This event features a live, symphony orchestra and choir rendition of the original scores by John Williams backed by a gigantic display of movie montages, laser madness, and live narration by C-3PO himself (actor Anthony Daniels).
Thu., Oct. 1, 8 p.m.; Fri., Oct. 2, 8 p.m., 2009
