The hilarious quintet of madmen behind Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest, Broken Lizard turned frat boy humor and beer drinking into massive careers. They hit it big when their unique blend of high- and low-brow humor struck a chord with America’s discerning moviegoers. Now, they’re returning to their improvisational comedy roots to promote their new film, The Slammin’ Salmon, about a Miami restaurant owner in trouble with the mob. Join them at the Coach House where the group will entertain with live improv—including appearances by characters from their films (Landfill? Yes, please!). The performance will be followed by a Q&A session in which someone will undoubtedly invite them to a party—or maybe an orgy. If you get there early enough, that someone could be you.
Fri., Sept. 18, 6 p.m., 2009
