L.A poet Richard Beban will read at the Marina Pacifica Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at 7 pm. The reading will be hosted by Long Beach poet G. Murray Thomas. There will also be an open poetry reading. Richard Beban has been a respected member of the Southern California poetry community for almost twenty years. He is the author of What the Heart Weighs and Young Girl Eating a Bird, both from Red Hen Press.
