Three things you will not take to the 30th Annual Long Beach Blues Festival weapons, pets or frowns. The organizers are quite specific. What you can take is an expectation of some dazzling music Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Johnny Winter, Bobby Womack, Sugaray (definitely not Sugar Ray), BB Chung King and the Buddha Heads and a ton more. Also take your appetite (theres a huge, mouthwatering variety of ethnic - and not so - food vendors) and a thirst, for the beer and wine stands. The festival is a major source of revenue for non-commercial KJAZZ 88.1 FM, SoCals #1 jazz and blues station out of CSULB.
