Ben Trigg and Steve Ramirez may tout themselves as “Two idiots Peddling Poetry,” but what they’ve got going on is anything but asinine. For the past nine years, these two men have been hosting weekly poetry readings at the Ugly Mug in Orange. Featuring guest poets each session along with an open mic, the Idiots have created a welcoming, nonjudgmental home for all those who love poetry—and have turned the Ugly Mug into one of the premiere poetry venues in the county. Come help them celebrate nine years of love and rhymes.
