Lil Wayne

Honda Center

By Amanda Parsons

Published on August 13, 2009 at 2:40am

It’s a common assumption that people with tattoos on their faces might not exactly be mentally stable. But in the case of New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne, the only evidence to corroborate that statement is his insane lyrical ability—well, that and his apparent drug problem (last year he was arrested with ounces of cocaine, weed and MDMA on his tour bus). The high school dropout’s talent is so undeniable that in the past two years, the New Yorker named him “Rapper of the Year” and Rolling Stone dubbed him “Best MC.” He’s won four Grammys, gone multi-platinum with his album sales and now, he’s selling out stadiums. See him and his facial ink live at the Honda Center as he raps with the likes of Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Jeremiah and Drake.
