Despite being trimmed down to a duo earlier this year, Jay Malinowski and Eon Sinclair of Bedouin Soundclash have been having a pretty successful summer so far. In addition to getting their music paired up with reggae punk icons Bad Brains in an officially released mash-up track (currently streaming on their Myspace page), the band was selected to join No Doubt on their current U.S. tour. However, they’ve stuck out on their own across the West Coast and Canada, sporting their ever-improving island sound. This week, Bedouin Soundclash is rolling over to the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana along with fellow dub enthusiasts the Lions and L.A. emcee duo Root Beer featuring Pigeon John and Flynn Adam. Providing a head-jarring clash of reggae, soul, dub and rap, it’s probably wise for fans to get their heads relaxed and ready before the show—you’re definitely in for a rude ride.
