There’s nothing quite like listening to a vinyl record. The sound seems more wholesome, warm and pure. In an effort to save vinyl records from extinction, Costa Mesa’s Light Gallery is recognizing this fact by hosting “The Art of Digging 2”, a record swap and music inspired art show. Sponsored by Ubiquity Records and featuring acts like DJ Grey Boy and Cocoa and the Fat Boy, the event celebrates everything we love about vinyl. Featuring a record swap and shop during the day and album cover-themed artwork displays of underground, lowbrow and urban contemporary art, stop by to see why Curator, Creative Director, Art Director and Event Planner Steve Borts calls the event one of his favorite shows to put on.
