Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

Honda Center

By ERIN DEWITT

Published on July 10, 2009 at 2:40am

Although elephant abuse accusations have been flying back and forth like a wild trapeze act, you know what they say: The show must go on. Coming to Anaheim’s Honda Center, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will hold it’s century-plus tradition to amaze old and young alike. Yes, there will be elephants, but also tigers, zebras, horses, alpacas and clowns—wonderfully frightening clowns. We hope they get this unfortunate affair handled (don’t let this turn into a Water for Elephants situation—no one wants an angry pachyderm) but what we really want to see is the return of the freak show acts. Bring back the bearded lady! Lobster boy! PETA would be fine with that, right?
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: July 16. Continues through July 26, 2009
