The Bowers Museum celebrates the 403rd birthday of Dutch master Rembrandt Van Rijn on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Dress up as Rembrandt or wear a Renaissance costume and receive free admission all day long. In addition, all visitors in costume receive a free piece of cake with any purchase of an entrée at Tangata. See rare works of art in the exhibition Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt's Etchings-Selections from the John Villarino Collection and enjoy performances, art projects, and a film screening. Admission: Free with Renaissance costume or $12 adults, $9 students and seniors over 62, and children under 6 free.
