Rohrer Fine Art

The Rohrer Fine Art Gallery prides itself in displaying unexpected couplings of artistic categories, creating a collage of pieces that dip into the pool of nearly every genre. Impressionistic paintings are hung alongside modern photography; Oceanic art next to Post-War paintings and sculptures. The Laguna Beach gallery’s most recent exhibit, “Highlights!,” again revels in this mismatch of styles by presenting works like French naïveté painter Camille Bombois’ stylish landscapes beside photographer Tseng Kwong Chi’s offbeat self-potraiture and surrealist, contemporary art by Saul Kaminer next to Consalvo Carelli’s serene images of the Roman countryside.
