As if a slew of inventive green programs wasnt reason enough to visit TRASHeda multipurpose space at the Camp helmed by the nonprofit organization Global Inheritancetheres the weekly music series Cans & Bands. Not just a nifty way to wind down Sunday nights, the series features ace all-ages bills from around the proverbial corner. This weeks got shambling poppers Big Whup and twangy psych cadets Land N Sea from L.A., Matt Adams from San Franciscos dreamy outfit the Blank Tapes, and D.A. Humphrey of Santa Anas the Flying Saucers. Like other weeks, the admission is five bucks or 10 cans of food for donation (to the OC Rescue Mission) and DJ Oldboy spins between bands. In other words? Coolest. Food drive. Ever.
