A bunch of surfers, including Newport Beach’s Rob Machado, engage in a “wide and varied journey . . . on this strange and beautiful watery planet.” Surf documentarian Thomas Campbell’s cameras follow the watermen to West Africa, New Zealand and Hawaii, among other the places. Student Film and Video Festival
