Making a living with his comedic expertise, David Alan Grier is one funny guy. Perhaps you remember him as one of the standout cast members from In Living Color. If not, you may know him from one of his nearly 80 film and television appearances (Saturday Night Live , Crank Yankers , Bewitched , Chocolate News). Fact is, unless you’ve been devoid of a television the past 20 years (or a radio—Grier had an impressive run on KROQ’s LoveLine), chances are you’ve caught a glimpse of what he does. What you may not know, however, is that when Grier isn’t too busy lending his talents to screens large and small, he does standup comedy. A classically trained actor with a master’s degree in drama, Grier began doing standup rather late in his career—but the quality of his material is that of a seasoned professional.
