Star Wars

Hibbleton Galley

If your last viewing of the 1977 masterpiece Star Wars took place long, long ago (in a galaxy far, far away), Hibbleton Gallery’s screening of the Oscar winner can remedy that. As part of the small gallery’s film series, the Fullerton hot spot is lending its space to neighborhood hipsters and sci-fi geeks looking to take shelter within its clean, white walls to view a classic. For the three people out there who don’t know: Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope is the fourth chapter in Lucas’ epic tale of intergalactic civil war headed by an evil emperor and the noble attempt by a ragtag group of heroes to rescue the rebel leader, Princess Leia, from the evil clutches of Darth Vader. Featuring droids, lightsaber battles, a planet-sized death ray and fantastic hair buns, Star Wars is a film to be enjoyed again and again, especially in the company of like-minded locals and geeks.
